Job Summary:
The Senior Regional Account Manager is responsible for leading and managing all sales activities within the assigned region, focusing on strategic growth and market expansion. This role includes the entire sales cycle—from identifying, prospecting, and qualifying leads to closing new business opportunities. The Senior Regional Account Manager will develop and implement sales strategies, build, and maintain strong relationships with current key clients and partners, and drive new business development. A critical component of this role is to collaborate with other departments to ensure the delivery of accurate and high-quality customer service, maintaining a standard of 100% customer satisfaction. The position requires a high level of professionalism in all aspects of performance, presentation, and communication, and the ability to think strategically and act decisively in a fast-paced environment. This is an office-based position in Plymouth, MA.
Essential Functions: sales, business development, customer relations, training, problem-solving, data analysis.
Marginal Functions: marketing, consultative sales, able to read product drawings.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred, or a minimum of 7 years of extensive, related job experience. Advanced degrees or certifications in sales are highly desirable.
- Extensive Sales Experience: At least 7 years of progressive sales experience, with a strong preference for experience in Industrial, Marine, or Rigging sectors. Demonstrated success in selling both directly and through distribution channels is essential.
- Expertise in Consultative Selling: Proven proficiency in consultative selling methodologies, with the ability to guide clients through complex sales processes and provide tailored solutions.
- Technical Product Knowledge: Deep understanding and hands-on experience with industrial, marine, or machined products. Experience with rigging and familiarity with technical drawings and construction assemblies is highly valued.
- Strategic Sales Leader: High-energy professional with a track record of consistently exceeding sales quotas and driving strategic business growth in large, multi-state territories.
- Project and Process Management: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple high-level sales processes and projects concurrently, ensuring timely and successful outcomes.
- Multi-level Decision Maker Engagement: Adept at building relationships and negotiating with decision-makers across all levels of an organization, from frontline personnel to C-suite executives.
- Exceptional Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication abilities, with a proven capacity to present complex technical information in a clear and compelling manner to diverse audiences.
- Technical and CRM Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experienced in utilizing CRM systems for managing customer relationships and tracking sales activities.
- Business Development Expertise: Strong background in business development, with a proven ability to identify and capitalize on new market opportunities and drive significant revenue growth.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
