Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse - Infusion to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a variety of settings, including inpatient and home community care. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in infusion therapy and be skilled in administering medications, monitoring patient responses, and educating patients on their treatment plans.
Duties:
- Provide patient care in accordance with established nursing standards and practices, including administering medications, monitoring patient vital signs, and performing venipuncture.
- Conduct discharge planning, ensuring that patients receive the necessary support and resources to successfully transition back into their home or community setting.
- Work closely with healthcare providers to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans for patients receiving infusion therapy.
- Communicate clearly and empathetically with patients to ensure a seamless healthcare experience.- Uphold high standards of infection control and patient safety protocols
- Comply with workers compensation law and regulations, ensuring that patients receive the necessary treatment and support.
Qualifications:
- Current RN licensure in MA.
- Experience in infusion therapy, including administering medications and monitoring patient responses.
- Strong foundation out patient care, including the ability to lift patients and equipment as needed.
- Ability to work in a variety of settings, including inpatient and home care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems preferred.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and patient privacy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
