We are looking for a qualified and creative Content Manager to join our Communication, Marketing, and Public Affairs Department at Gestamp US Region, to develop, coordinate, and implement internal and external communication tasks, creating compelling stories and persuasive content for the organization to ensure that unified, consistent, and positive messages define and promote the corporate brand consistency across different channels and audiences in the United States.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Content Creation Manager will be responsible for:
1. Designing, drafting, editing, and distributing various types of engaging content addressing different audiences through various platforms in an array of channels (videos for social media, newsletter for internal corporate site, content for the company website, press releases for mass media, marketing and promotional materials in alignment with the company’s brand identity, training guidelines, and other kinds of communication production that take the message to our publics of interests.)
2. Creating and overseeing communications programs that effectively describe and promote the organization and its products
3. Contributing to the preparation of presentations and/or speeches geared toward employees and other stakeholders
4. Sharing content to raise brand awareness
5. Develop new and further existing internal communication channels
6. Contributing to the company blog or website
7. Liaising with content writers to ensure brand consistency; and editing, proofreading an improving writers’ posts
8. Writing content for local newspaper or magazine ads
9. Developing an editorial calendar and overseeing its deliverables
10. Designing marketing and promotional materials for the company
11. Editing all promotional materials before distribution
12. Ensuring that all promotional materials are aligned with the company’s brand identity
13. Addressing and resolving any problems that may arise with promotional content or distribution of materials
14. Analyzing the company’s social media and online presence
15. Optimizing content according to SEO
16. Ensure compliance with law in regard to copyright and data protection
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
BS/BA in public relations, communications, multimedia or relevant field
At least 10+ years of hands-on work experience in Communications, preferably in a professional services environment
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Strong design, written, and oral skills, with experience in devising storytelling for different audiences Ability to translate multifaced corporate strategies and ideas into captivating and clear messages that drive target audience to take action
Knowledge and background in graphic design, video editing, and content production Expertise in copywriting and editing
Demonstrated experience in the successful development of internal communications Ability to analyze information, assess issues, make recommendations, and clearly articulate them
Detail-oriented Solid problem-solving skills
Organization and project management experience, with proven ability to adapt to changing priorities and produce quality deliverables on time
Experience operating in an ever-changing, fast-paced, highly demanding environment, a plus
Ability to work independently, have a sense of accountability, as well as work cooperatively in a close team environment
Working knowledge of MS Office; photo and video-editing software, and graphic design tools is an asset
Employees must regularly travel to the company locations within the USA
