Position Summary: Provides administrative support to the Development Office and participates in all fundraising activities including donor and public relations, direct mail appeals, auxiliary events, and special events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintains partners card files and supports with marketing actions like social media, emails to donors/participants, and donor communication flows through Raisers Edge.

Conducts preliminary research on partners card corporate prospects, retailers, and community sellers.

Maintains accurate reporting on Partners Card and Marketing Revenue drivers

Assists with annual and special event mailings (Spring and year-end appeal letters and Community Impact Report, invitations, underwriting letters, and host committee mailings).
- Maintains retailer, retail sales liaison and community seller lists. Gathers, and prepares materials for meetings/committee meetings, chair meetings, and other duties as assigned for fund-raising events.

Prepares media materials for distribution. (i.e., copying, filing, mailing, e-mailing)

Assembles media and donor kits for events and meetings.

Provides general, overall administrative assistance including correspondence, occasional donor communications, and other assistance as required.
Other Duties: Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in related field and a minimum of 3-5 years year of experience, preferably in a not-for-profit development office. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Database management experience required – Raiser’s Edge NXT preferred.
Licenses and Certifications: Valid Texas Driver’s License and clear driving record

Mental and Physical Abilities:

Duties are usually performed seated with occasional periods of standing, walking, with occasional need for driving to pick up or deliver items. Limited physical effort is required associated with lifting and carrying objects (less than 25 lbs). Ability to tolerate ambiguity and work under pressure to meet deadlines.

Ability to drive personal vehicle or company vehicle to visit sites or perform other duties for the position.
Working Conditions: Work may be performed but is not limited to an office environment. Ability to work some weekends and evening hours for special projects.
Work Location: Work must be performed in the agency office.
