Scope of Position:
Under the supervision of the Area Director and individual Program Directors, the Clinical Coordinator will Provide direct support and act as an internal consultant for residents in The Bridge Safe Havens, located in The Bronx and Harlem. They will work with high-need clients in these temporary locations as they transition into supportive housing. The Clinical Coordinator will partner with the Individual Program Directors in supervising Case Management staff. Client visitation might occur in the community, in hospitals, clinics and in coordination with clients’ other supports. This position requires working at multiple locations and the employee will be provided with an unlimited monthly MetroCard and access to agency vehicles for transportation as needed and available. Driver’s license with clean record preferred. Potential opportunity to receive clinical supervision for LCSW/LMHC hours (dependent on staff availability).
Qualifications: Master’s degree in social work or mental health counseling with license preferred.
Experience working with a population experiencing substance abuse and mental health issues.
Computer literacy required, ability to use Electronic Health Record to document services. Knowledge of AWARDS, CARES and BCS a plus. Bilingual (Spanish) a plus.
