Position: Recruiter
Summary: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Recruiter to join our manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for talent, excellent interpersonal skills, and a thorough understanding of the hiring process. The Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, interviewing, and selecting qualified candidates for various positions within the company, ensuring we attract the best talent to meet our operational needs. Will develop great relationships with our internal managers and supervisors to hire the best talent for our culture and industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Talent Acquisition: Proactively source and attract candidates using a variety of methods including job boards, social media, career fairs, and networking events.
- Screening and Interviewing: Conduct initial screenings, phone interviews, and in-person interviews to evaluate applicants' qualifications and fit for the company.
- Collaboration: Work closely with department heads to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
- Job Posting: Create and manage job postings on various platforms to ensure a wide reach and attract diverse candidates.
- Candidate Experience: Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process, from application to onboarding.
- Background Checks: Coordinate and conduct background checks and reference checks for potential hires.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all recruiting activities and provide regular reports to the HR Director.
- Compliance: Ensure all hiring practices comply with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in recruitment and bring innovative ideas to improve the hiring process.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field or equivalent experience in recruiting and hiring in a manufacturing environment.
Experience: Minimum of 2-5 years of recruitment experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of full-cycle recruiting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS); UKG experience preferred
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
