Job Description
COMC is looking to hire a highly skilled Director of Marketing with the ability and experience to advance the COMC brand and voice, and to enhance the presentation and promotion of our product offering at events, online, and across our interactions with collectors. This position will be charged with understanding the nuanced needs of the various segments of COMC customers and potential customers. This role will report to the VP of Sale & Marketing and the ideal candidate will have extensive marketing experience and familiarity with marketing technology. This person must be able to successfully lead and influence a team of content creators, graphic designers, and passionate industry experts. This role also requires a deep understanding of our customers, as well as a drive to deliver solutions and tell stories that make a difference.
Job Responsibilities

Collaborate with business team to uncover insights for developing marketing and branding strategies for existing and new products.

Identify short and long-term scheduling and resource needs, including the development and management of annual marketing budget, profit-and-loss projections, and expenditures.

Understand and define KPIs and tracking tools for market research, forecasts, competitor analysis, campaign results, and consumer trends, and translate these results into actionable insights for the marketing team.

Lead development of marketing strategy by working closely with clients, managers, creatives, content providers, and distribution partners to create effective plans focused on growing the audiences for our products and services.

Spearhead the execution of marketing campaigns, including test and control group segmentation, testing, tracking, results reporting, analyses, and recommendations.

Manage conception, development, and implementation of marketing plans and strategy, product concepts, and promotional programs to drive customer interest and sales.

Conduct meetings regularly with team members to review performance, resolve challenges, and brainstorm solutions.

Provide training to ensure the team is consistently performing above standard.

Attend conventions, conferences, and trade shows, preparing engaging displays and collateral that enhance the COMC brand and help to ensure the success of the event.
Job Qualifications

Successful track record in senior marketing role, and campaign creation and management.

Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.

Experience in digital and print marketing, content marketing, social media marketing, and branding.

Proven ability to plan and manage budgets.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Proficiency in marketing and CRM platforms, Adobe, and MS Office Suite.

Bachelor’s degree in communication, advertising, or marketing preferred.

5 – 10 years of related job experience.
