Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Provides finance advising for incoming students.
- Ensures financing is processed with accuracy. This includes assisting prospective students in understanding financial obligations for payment of tuition, including finance options, payment schedules, and financial assistance structures.
- Prepares, obtains, and enters lending documents in NTI system (if applicable) for new students.
- Assists admissions with managing the new student review (NSR) process by maintaining the NSR spreadsheet and proactively following up on missing items to support new students with their training goals.
- Collaborates with the admissions team to support the processing of new student documents in a backup role as needed.
- Maintains student documents in NTI’s student system by inputting all student related finance records in campus CRM and accounting software.
- Answers inquiries regarding student financing and student account issues in a service-centric and personalized manner.
- Assists NTI finance in managing the tuition collection payment process.
- Conduct proactive outreach to students and graduates to collect tuition payments and renewal documents.
- Offers support to students and graduates with finding alternatives for reducing their balance.
- Ensures all requirements have been met prior to graduation and that graduates’ certificates are factually correct.
- Engages in professional, service-centric communications with students, graduates, and NTI clients.
- Support the accounts receivable record keeping and reporting process as needed.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Competencies
- Excellent customer service skills along with strong written and verbal communication skills required.
- Experience working in a proactive, customer-centric environment.
- Must be computer and internet literate.
- Microsoft suite competency.
Required Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate Degree preferred.
- Accounting, finance and/or accounts receivable experience preferred.
- 1-2 years of customer service experience is required.
