SHIFT: 9AM-CLOSE (Close can be as late as 8PM)
POSITION SUMMARY
Receives and stores car parts for future distribution. Picks and packs same parts for distribution to dealers. Parts can be as large as a car engine and include car body parts. Account Specific, general warehouse functions to include, but not be limited to: picking, packing, receiving, binning, returns processing, loading and unloading

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
- Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
- Conveys car parts (product) from receiving or storage areas to designated areas.
- Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
- Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves, or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department.
- Marks materials with identifying information.
- Opens bales, crates, and other containers.
- Uses computer to enter records
- Experience with RF Scanners preferred
- Other duties as assigned
Competency Statement(s)
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance. Basic understanding of SAP or a comparable WMS.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations

The employee frequently is required to talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 70 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and color vision.
This is a fast-paced job in which the employee must continually walk to and from different areas of the warehouse. The lifting in this job is regular and will include awkward shaped parts and some heavy parts.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, toxic or caustic chemicals, and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
