As a Prepress Specialist, you will not only be responsible to drive tasks such as creating impositions and generating plates for offset presses but also play a key role in our journey towards more digital and automated processes. You will have the chance to be part of a collaborative team, working on projects that will transform the way our prepress team operates. Jo b Responsibilities:
- Drive prepress tasks utilizing Kodak Prinergy, Preps, and Virtual Proofing.
- Impose files to binder's templates to ensure seamless production.
- Inspect plates for quality and ensure they meet our standards.
- Conduct data collection and record keeping for quality control purposes.
- Safely transport plates to the pressroom and load them into auto loaders.
- Maintain processors and make necessary chemistry changes.
- Actively participate in projects to automate and digitize processes within the prepress team.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of related experience in Prepress, Graphics, or Printing (training available for exceptional candidates).
- Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Tech-savviness and a creative mindset with a passion for transforming processes into digital and automated workflows.
- Working knowledge of Kodak Prinergy, Preps, Virtual Proofing, and the Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
