Position Overview:
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Insurance Coverage Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our clients have the appropriate coverage for their needs by auditing and remarketing current policies with multiple carriers.
Responsibilities:
1. Review new insurance policies to ensure they meet agency requirements and comply with agency standards of minimum coverage.
2. Conduct Audits on New Business written by reviewing policy declarations against checklist for appropriate coverage options.
3. Review All Commercial Renewals for Coverage deficiencies and make recommendations for policy changes based on deficiencies in current coverage.
3. Remarket Quotes for the Commercial Team and Collaborate with insurance underwriters and carriers to obtain quotes and negotiate terms on behalf of clients.
4. Analyze policy documents and endorsements to identify any gaps or deficiencies in coverage.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in insurance 3-5 years minimum
- Strong knowledge of insurance products, coverage options, and policy terms and conditions.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex insurance documents and identify potential risks.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing policy documents and client information.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
- Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Office and experience with insurance agency management systems (AMS) or customer relationship management (CRM) software is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
