Overview: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Chemist to join our team. As a Chemist, you will be responsible for conducting chemical analyses, developing and validating analytical methods, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in analytical chemistry and experience working in a laboratory setting. Responsibilities: - Perform chemical analyses using various techniques such as spectroscopy, chromatography, and gas chromatography - Develop and validate analytical methods to ensure accuracy and precision - Conduct quality control tests to ensure compliance with CGMP and FDA regulations - Maintain accurate records of all laboratory activities and test results - Troubleshoot instrumentation issues and perform routine maintenance - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development and improvement initiatives - Stay current with industry trends and advancements in analytical techniques Skills: - Strong knowledge of analytical chemistry principles and techniques - Proficiency in operating laboratory equipment such as spectrophotometers, chromatographs, and other analytical instruments - Familiarity with GLP (Good Laboratory Practices) and CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) - Understanding of FDA regulations related to pharmaceutical or chemical manufacturing - Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot instrumentation issues - Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members across departments Note: This is a paid position that offers competitive compensation based on experience level.
