The Key Burn Ambassador (Key BA for short) is responsible for the experience our members receive. The Key BA goal is to maximize the client experience and facilitating day-to-day activities. They also work with the team to maximize category sales and the growth of our member base. There is a strong focus on sales, running the “front of house” operations, and fostering the growth of community in the gym.
Roles and Responsibilities
As a Key Burn Ambassador, you will be expected to work at the front desk for approximately 20-30 hours a week, so you can be a visible entity in the gym and build relationships with clients. You will be the trusted right hand person to the franchise partner and are expected to be the glue between the different teams, creating cross collaboration and communication.
Managerial Duties of the Position
- Resolving client issues
- Identifying & rectifying process and documentation gaps
- Working with the operations manager to manage the gym based on business metrics and key performance indicators
- Working with the team to create in-gym marketing programs for member retention and new member acquisition
- Cross-team communication and alignment
Front Desk Duties of the Position
- Provide the full welcome experience with each client
- Greeting members
- Tour of the facility
- Introduction to the trainer
- Mindbody enrollment
- Having waivers signed and returned
- Facilitate day-to-day processes related to trial clients
- Selling memberships
- Scheduling focus meetings for clients
- Completing Mindbody tasks
- Following up with prospects & trial members (text, e-mail, phone calls)
- Updating the closing journal & trial tracker
- Completing retail transactions
- Organizing the client drop zone and washing / folding towels.
- Responsible for working as a team to close 60% of all trials.
- Provide general retail maintenance to keep the retail center stocked, clean, and approachable.
- Assist in promoting gym events and specials
- Work with training staff to maximize the client experience
- Light cleaning and straightening as instructed in the Open/Close Checklist to ensure facility is properly maintained.
- Report facility repair needs to the owner
Qualifications
- Must be a high producer in an autonomous working situation and a self-motivator.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Able to easily learn and navigate software systems and maintain records.
- Have a high level of understanding and presence in social media and technology in general.
- Ability to multi-task and stay organized.
- Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills.
- High level of attention to detail and follow through.
- Passing a background check.
- Experience with sales is a plus.
- Experience in dealing with customers is a plus.
- Experience with marketing, videography, photography & social media is a plus.
- Experience with managing people is a plus.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday and rotate Saturdays
