Summary: Ensures exceptional guest service is provided to guests at all times and handles all elevated complaints or concerns. Oversees the restaurant operation during the absence of the manager. Assist in seating, keeping the outlet clean, and preparing the outlet for service. Follow pre-determined service standards to ensure a positive guest dining experience.
Essential Functions:
- Monitors staff to ensure outstanding guest service is being provided to guest and handles any guest concerns or complaints
- Handles escalated guest issues and employee relations
- Work with minimal supervision
- Inspect tables and stations, ensuring that all set ups meet the department standards. Check throughout meal period. Relay deficiencies to respective personnel and follow up on corrections
- Maintains complete knowledge of POS and manual systems
- Ensures all cashiering procedures are processed in compliance with accounting standards
- Inspect the restaurant to ensure all cleanliness standards are being maintained at all times
- Handles all voided checks in accordance with accounting procedures, assists servers with expediting problem payments and handles all other cashiering issues
- Maintains complete knowledge and comply with all Departmental policies, procedures and service standards
- Conduct start of shift meetings with staff to review standards and procedures
- Ensures health, safety and sanitation standards are followed at all times
- Perform other duties as assigned
