About this opportunity
As an Onboarding Specialist, your role is to build the confidence of our doctors by applying comprehensive knowledge of Invisalign/iTero sales strategies in dental practices that help accelerate revenue and higher case volume. This role provides consultative end to end and customized training through regular touch points focused on utilization and adoption of our products, you will serve as a direct point of contact for new customers while coordinating cross functional efforts with other areas of the business for an excellent customer experience. You will work to identify and prioritize target accounts within an assigned territory, and drive growth by continually understanding business needs and maintaining a positive experience for our customers.
In this role, you will…

Virtual account management role:
-
Provide customer support to new Invisalign customers.

Help convert warm leads to new customers by assisting in the completion of the certification process.

Driving providers to attend an in-person Invisalign Treatment Planning Workshop.

Understanding practice goals and lifting barriers to enhance speed to Invisalign adoption in practice.

Generate leads and increase doctor’s knowledge on Invisalign and iTero products via outbound calling, email communications and performing virtual demonstrations to customers from the Raleigh NC Corporate office.

Responsible for providing prompt area and region communication and program updates.

Develops sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts; soliciting newly certified accounts building rapport; providing clinical and product information and explanations.

Responsible for handling customer inquiries promptly and effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Plan and execute Align’s sales strategy to determine practice vision, identify gaps, and establish solutions to drive sales within the practice.

Develop and maintain positive relationships with each account, including staff, assistants and doctor by demonstrating practice focus based on integrity and trust.

Understand account capabilities to help identify gaps and recommend training, technical resources, and support to ensure customers are well-equipped to treat patients with appropriate Align Technology solutions and ensure positive patient outcomes.

Partner with additional internal company resources including field sales to optimize the customer experience and provide ongoing promotion of Align products.

Ensure the effective fulfillment of KPIs and assigned quota, other business objectives and assigned deadlines.

Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve area or region and company goals.
In this role, you’ll need …

College degree preferred and/or equivalent experience.
-
2+ years of inside sales experience or other relevant experience.
-
Dental industry experience is a plus.
-
Must be willing to learn orthodontic and clinical knowledge.
-
Must be comfortable conducting business over the phone and email.
-
Proven record of successful sales achievements and competitive sales experience.

Proficiency with Salesforce preferred.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.
-
Ability to lead virtual presentations with area and field stakeholders.
-
Can balance strong ability to nurture accounts with desire to seek out opportunities.

Strong multi-tasking as well as problem solving skills.

Ability and comfort having business discussion (ROI, margins, marketing) and asking the right business questions.

Forecasting business metrics/KPIs.

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft suite of products.

Proven ability to learn technical product knowledge in a highly complex industry.

Ability to work hybrid shift. Split schedule between office and work from home.

Must be able to work assigned shift hours in the Raleigh, NC office.
