Primary Responsibilities:
Produces product by following product process specifications and packaging requirements, may include duties such as:

opening cook bags, machining processes such as tenderizing, tumbling, cutting, slicing, bagging, weighing, sealing, boxing, labeling

Prepares product for next process by manually loading product on racks; moving racks to cook area

Maintains operational work flow by following procedures; advising supervisor of irregularities

Maintains quality standards by verifying weights, observing metal detection read-outs; inspecting product throughout process

Maintains safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations

Contributes to team effort by performing other duties as assigned and needed

Follow established plant wide Good Manufacturing Procedures.

Inspect equipment and utensils for sanitary conditions. Inspect product (if direct product handler) for signs of foreign material contamination

Inform production supervisor or QA if any food safety issue is observed that could lead to contamination of product.
