Under the direction of a supervisor, the Security Guard performs general security work to protect persons and property and to prevent losses due to accidents and incidents. Security Guards serve institutional, industrial, or commercial properties against fire, theft, vandalism, and illegal entry. Security Guard duties may include operating a motor vehicle for people and supply transport; patrolling buildings and grounds of the site; watching for and reporting irregularities such as fire hazards; writing incident reports; recording data such as property damage; reporting unauthorized persons seen entering to law enforcement; and warning violators of rule infractions.
Schedule: Sunday-Thursday, 2:30 pm to 10:00 pm
Pay rate: $17.00 per hour
Hours are variable and subject to change based on business needs.
