Position Title: Transporter
Reports to: Director of Clinical Operations
Job Status: Contract role. Fee for services. $15/hour plus mileage reimbursement.
POSITION SUMMARY
Under the direction of the Clinical Director, the Transporter is responsible for the safe transportation of children to and from their designated locations. This includes unsupervised and supervised visitations, appointments, placements, school, etc.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of one year of working within the human services field, providing transport services via Department of Family and Children Services (DFCS)
- Good Driving Record – will request Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Collaborate with case managers, other contractors, and community partners to ensure effective treatment and case collaboration
- Schedule and coordinate transports with case managers, families, and other service providers
- Be a positive role model to all individuals and families that you encounter
- Safely transport individuals and families to their service appointments
- Enter transport notes and document mileage in a timely manner in Electronic Health Record System (EHR)
- Complete annual trainings as required by agency and DFCS
- Attend agency meetings

- Previous Experience utilizing an Electronic Health Record (EHR) System. eCase Notes experience is a plus
- Self-starter with strong customer support orientation and demonstrated professional demeanor
- Ability to pass all vital background checks/screenings
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus

- Contract position providing behavior aide & transportation services in the community
- Flexible availability including evenings and weekends fulfilling 15 hours/week minimum (part-time) or 30 hours/week minimum (full-time)
- There are upfront costs part of next steps should you be extended an offer (Fingerprints, CPR, etc)
- In this role, you will also be using your own vehicle and would be reimbursed for mileage
