As a Sales Associate at BOC Water Hydraulics, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth and expanding our market presence._
You will be responsible for:
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong growth relationships with existing clients while actively seeking out and developing new business opportunities.
- Product Knowledge: Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of our water hydraulic products and solutions, effectively communicating their features, benefits, and applications to customers.
- Sales Strategy: Execute the strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets and objectives. Identify ways to broaden the sales strategy and tailor sales approaches accordingly.
- Market Analysis: Conduct on-going market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitor activities, and customer needs. Keep sales management abreast of observed trends and changes in the marketplace.
- Service Support: Assist customers in service scenarios by providing product expertise or home office assistance. Ensure the customer is fully supported in operation of their installed base of equipment by providing support documentation and training.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including engineering, and customer support, to ensure seamless coordination and delivery of solutions to customers. Maintain positive working relationships with staff, colleagues, customers, suppliers, and external contacts.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Preferred bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering, or related field and or prior experience in a B2B sales role.
- Proven track record in sales, preferably in the industrial or engineering sector.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ERP and CRM systems.
- Willingness to travel out of the home office a minimum on average 50 % of time, mainly domestically but occasionally internationally, for customer visits, trade shows and industry events.
- Ability to understand fluid power equipment and schematics.
- Professional Fluid Power Certification a plus.
