Job Summary:
We are a rapidly growing restaurant looking for Servers to enhance our Company. We are looking for creative, motivated people with the ability to work in a fast-paced and teamwork-oriented environment. You will need to have high energy, a positive attitude, be organized, have basic serving skills, and be communicative. You will report to the General Manager with a dotted line to the Front of the House Managers. This position requires nights and weekends each month.

Responsibilities:

Serves guests with food and beverages in a positive and friendly manner

Provides information to help food and beverage selections

Presents ordered choices in a prompt and efficient manner

Maintains dining ambiance with an enthusiastic attitude

Prepares room for dining by setting tables, chairs, condiments, and service utensils
-
Protects establishment and guests by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies
-
Helps guests select food and beverages by suggesting menu items (including upselling), explaining the menu offerings, and answering food preparation questions
-
Transmits orders to bar and kitchen by recording guests’ choices and identifying guests’ allergies, special dietary needs and requests
-
Keeps kitchen staff informed by noting timing of meal progression
-
Serves orders by picking up and delivering guests’ choices from bar and kitchen and delivering accompaniments and condiments from service bars
-
Responds to additional guest requirements by inquiring of needs and observing dining process
-
Maintains table setting by removing courses as completed, providing tools, refilling water glasses, and being alert to guest spills or other special needs

Concludes dining experience by acknowledging choice of restaurant and inviting guests to return

Obtains revenues by totaling charges, issuing bills, accepting payments, and returning change or credit card and signature slip to guests
