Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in durable medical equipment, respiratory care, and warehouse operations. As a Warehouse Technician, you will play a crucial role in managing our inventory, organizing warehouse space, and ensuring the timely and accurate distribution of medical equipment to our clients. Familiarity with Brightree software is highly desirable.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and inventory incoming shipments of durable medical equipment, respiratory devices, and oxygen equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, including tracking stock movements, conducting regular cycle counts, and reconciling discrepancies.
- Prepare and package orders for shipment, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Perform routine maintenance and quality checks on medical equipment, including cleaning, sanitizing, and performing basic repairs as needed.
- Assist with warehouse organization and layout optimization to maximize space utilization and operational efficiency.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, in a safe and responsible manner.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including customer service, sales, and billing, to fulfill orders and address customer inquiries.
- Utilize Brightree software for inventory management, order processing, and documentation.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in warehouse management or related field preferred.
- Valid Driver's License
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably in a medical equipment or healthcare setting.
- Proficiency in operating material handling equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in inventory tracking and record-keeping.
- Knowledge of durable medical equipment, respiratory devices, and oxygen therapy products is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with Brightree or similar inventory management software preferred.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Bilingual not required, but is a plus (English, Spanish, Creole)
