Overview:
Amerita, Inc. is a leading provider in home infusion therapy. We are looking for a Cash Training & Research Specialist to join our Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) team as we grow to be one of the top home infusion providers in the country. The Cash Training & Research Specialist will report directly to the Cash Applications Manager and work in the Centennial, Colorado RCM office.

Responsibilities:
- Assists with new hire training and ongoing new procedure training

Accomplishes cash department goals by maintaining patient, unapplied cash report weekly

Maintains cash apps inbox by completing research, reversing & reapplying payments accordingly, and communicating effectively with other departments to resolve problems regarding missing payments or misapplied payments

Assists with researching unidentified, unapplied cash deposits

Contacts payers by telephone, mail or other appropriate means to secure copies of missing remittance advices, as needed

Understands and adhere to HIPAA & PHI guidelines, all State & Federal_regulations, and all company policies

Assists with special projects, as needed

Works overtime, when necessary, to assist with cash batch posting
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required

Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience with line-item cash applications or health care reimbursement

Knowledge of CPR+ software a plus

Ability to apply basic accounting practices

Ability to type 40 wpm
-
10-key proficiency
-
Ability to independently obtain & interpret information
