Commercial Account Manager (CAM) - Telecommunications

Role Summary:
As a Commercial Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing and growing our commercial accounts within our designated fiber optic footprint. Your focus will be on building strong relationships with existing clients and identifying new business opportunities. Collaborating closely with our sales and technical teams, you’ll ensure customer satisfaction, retention, and revenue growth.
Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing commercial and key accounts.
- Understand clients’ needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned fiber market(s). This is a client facing role so you will be required to be in the field conducting face-to-face meetings, presentations and prospecting.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations to develop and execute strategic account plans.
- Customer Satisfaction and Retention:
- Provide exceptional customer service and support.
- Conduct regular business reviews to identify areas for improvement and growth.
- Market Awareness:
- Stay up to date with industry trends, competition, and market changes.
- Identify new business “hunt” opportunities and address potential challenges.
- Presentations and Proposals:
- Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations and proposals to clients.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
- Experience:
- Previous experience in account management or sales within the telecommunications industry.
- Familiarity with fiber optics and related services.
- Skills:
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to collaborate across departments and teams.
- Results-oriented mindset.
- Adaptability to industry changes and evolving client needs.
