Being a pediatric therapist can be demanding and challenging, however, Therapeutic Links offers supervision and support to organize work life balance.
We are looking for an Occupational Therapist to join our team and provide pediatric services. The successful candidate will work with children and be able to create individualized treatment plans that address the needs of each patient. New grads are welcome with a willingness to take the time and put in the effort to seek out and attend continuing education courses, as well as, be mentored by senior therapists. The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for assessing the physical, cognitive, and emotional needs of each patient and providing evidence-based interventions to improve their functioning.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize a variety of assessment tools to evaluate the patient's physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities.
- Develop treatment plans that are tailored to the individual needs of the patient.
- Provide therapeutic interventions that help the patient reach their goals.
- Educate patients and families on how to manage their condition.
- Work with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
- Provide support and guidance to parents and caregivers of pediatric patients.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $55.00 - $59.00 per hour
