Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards through precision measuring, data collection, and quality inspections. Your expertise in quality assurance processes and your ability to analyze data will be crucial in maintaining our commitment to excellence.

Duties/Responsibilities:
· Conduct thorough inspections of components and finished products to ensure adherence to specifications and quality standards.
· Perform physical measurements with micrometers and calipers.
· Identify and document any deviations, defects, or non-conformities during the inspection process.
· Programming and operating the Zeiss Contura CMM with Calypso.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
· Maintaining and organizing the Gage/CMM Lab.
· Develop and maintain quality control procedures and protocols for the manufacturing processes.
· First article inspection, as well as process monitoring and auditing.
· Provide technical support and guidance to production personnel on quality-related matters.
· Generate reports and maintain accurate records of inspection results and quality metrics.
· Any other tasks deemed necessary by your supervisor.
Required Skills/Abilities:
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
· Experience with Solidworks and CAD.
· Experience programming and operating a Zeiss Contura CMM with Calypso.
· Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
· Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and specifications subject to ASME Y14.5-2009 GDT.
· Familiarity with precision measurement tools and equipment.
· Previous experience in quality assurance/control within the automotive or manufacturing industry.
Preferred Skills/Abilities:
· Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
· Experience with quality management systems and procedures.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
