Nature and Scope: Greets and assists patients when they contact our facility while providing excellent customer service. This position ensures that each patient receives superior quality care. All operators are representative of the physicians and the practice.
Educational Requirements, Licenses, and Certification: Must have basic computer knowledge in Microsoft and Excel software.
Previous Experience: At least one year of experience in a clerical/office setting.
Front Office Duties:
Provide the highest quality of customer service to all of our patients.
Maintain patient professionalism at all times.
Obtain patient history, demographics, insurance information and update in patient’s file.
Schedule, re-schedule, and cancel appointments for patients throughout the day.
Triage all patient phone calls to determine urgency of appointment.
Obtain insurance authorizations/referrals and check eligibility for next day’s appointments.
Administrative Responsibilities:
Perform basic clerical functions.
Fax, copy and send out information.

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
