Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and knowledgeable Dietetic Technician (Registered preferred) to join our team. As a Dietetic Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing nutrition support and guidance to residents. Your expertise in diagnostic evaluation and dietetics will contribute to the overall health and well-being of our residents.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct resident assessments to determine nutritional needs and develop appropriate dietary plans
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure proper nutrition therapy for residents
- Monitor and evaluate resident progress, making necessary adjustments to dietary plans as needed
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations to assess residents' nutritional status
- Document patient information accurately and maintain confidentiality
-Consult with residents regarding nutritional care as needed.
-Assist with supervision of Dining Servies staff in a skilled nursing facility.
Experience:
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in nutrition, Dietetics, or related field preferred
- Certification as a Dietetic Technician or Registered Dietetic Technician preferred
- Experience working in a healthcare or clinical setting is highly desirable
-Familiarity with specialized diets
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
-Schedule includes every other weekend and every other holiday.
-Hours: 9:30am-5:30pm
