Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sonographer to join our medical team. As a Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic evaluations using ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' internal organs and tissues. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely results.
Responsibilities:
- Perform ultrasound scans on patients using specialized equipment
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and answering any questions
- Position patients correctly to obtain the best possible images
- Adjust equipment settings to optimize image quality
- Analyze images and provide preliminary findings to physicians
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure appropriate patient care
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Sonographer or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Proficient in operating ultrasound equipment and interpreting scan results
- Familiarity with various ultrasound techniques, including abdominal, pelvic, vascular, and musculoskeletal
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately analyze images
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in mammography or other specialized areas of sonography
- Knowledge of CT scanning techniques

Pay: $98,004.38 - $101,532.16 per year
