Dunwoody Country Club (DCC) is looking to hire experienced certified personal trainers with a high level of professionalism and emphasis on excellent customer service. Applicants must have at least 2+ years of training/coaching experience, a positive, outgoing attitude, and open availability 5+ days/week.
Job Expectations
The successful DCC trainer is highly motivated, resourceful, mature, and has strong interpersonal and communication skills. Trainers must also possess integrity, excellent moral standards and work ethic, a desire to help others, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while being in a team environment.
Our expectation is for trainers to commit to a minimum of 20 billable training hours per week. This expectation fits the DCC culture, and leads to rapport with the community, which leads to referrals and a full business book.
The DCC Culture
Our focus is on customized training programs in the private club setting. In this position, your primary responsibilities will be to provide each member with excellent customer service by performing the following duties:
- business building skill-set, including scheduling and marketing yourself in a soft sales environment
- continued career growth in the field; building on your training knowledge and possessing a growth-mindset
- conduct safe and effective training sessions that are appropriate for client goals and ability
- create and update training and nutrition programs
- perform fitness assessments and evaluations
- coach and motivate clients to reach mutually established goals
- provide nutrition and lifestyle consulting
- managing an accurate schedule for client appointments, billing, and record-keeping
-greet all members and provide each person with exceptional customer service
Requirements:
- Nationally recognized certification (NSCA, ACE, ACSM, ISSA, and NASM preferred)
- CPR/AED certification
- Personal Training experience
- Solid knowledge of periodization, program design, anatomy, biomechanics, and nutritional concepts
- Passion for helping others
- Passion for the fitness industry
- Ownership over training schedule
- Reliable transportation
