Order Entry Clerk Job Summary:
The Order Entry Clerk is responsible for verifying order information for accuracy, making corrections, entering data in the computer, and checking the output.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Enters customer and account data.
- Inputs text-based and numerical information from source documents within a specified time.
- Compiles and verifies information for accuracy.
- Organizes documents, reviews for accuracy, and sorts information for computer entry.
- Reviews data for errors, corrects incompatibilities, and checks the output.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Computer literacy, including word processing, spreadsheet software, and database applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience highly preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift fifteen pounds at times.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
