Premier boutique CPA firm seeking to add an associate to join our growing firm. The ideal candidate should have 2-5 years’ experience (CPA is a plus) in public accounting.
Responsibilities include
- Preparation of all tax return types (i.e., personal, corporate, partnership, estate/trust, Gift, Not-for-profit, etc.)
- Prepare Payroll and Sales tax returns
- Prepare reports and financial analysis for clients and Partners as needed
- Perform various accounting analysis of general ledgers, financial statements, and similar records
- Perform tax and accounting research, and demonstrate critical thinking to apply recommendations
- Assist with IRS issues and drafting responses to governmental correspondence
- Assist other team member with accounting responsibilities as necessary
- Assist in Audit, Review and Compilation engagements
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of tax experience with a public accounting firm
- Understanding of tax concepts related to individuals, C Corporations, S Corporations, Partnerships, estates and trusts
- Ability to interact and communicate with clients (written, verbal, and in person)
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Self-motivator with excellent organization skills
- Proficiency with CCH Axcess is a plus
- Proficiency in QuickBooks online
