POSITION SUMMARY:
Branch Administrator for our New Haven/Norwalk Office in Connecticut!
Healthcare Experience Preferred!!!
The Administrator is a salaried employee who reports directly to the Regional Director of Operations and is responsible for the management of the Agency's programs in accordance with Caring People policies.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Educational preference is a Bachelor's/ Master's degree in a health-related or business field and two years administrative experience in a health related field is preferred.
- Must have adequate experience and knowledge of applicable local, state, and federal laws
- Must be able to understand computer spreadsheets and financial statements
- Must have a basic understanding of computer skills and applications
- Must have effective communication skills and be able to follow instructions to complete work as scheduled
- Must be able to be a team leader to effectively manage a small team to meet the company’s objectives
- May need proof of driver's license, automobile and automobile insurance
- Must be reliable and have a positive attitude, which fosters a cooperative and positive atmosphere
- Must be neat and professional in appearance
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serves as the liaison between the client, caregiver and community through open and effective communication
- Plans, organizes, directs and evaluates operations to ensure the provision of adequate and appropriate care and service
- Responsible for the fiscal planning, budgeting and management of operations in accordance with established fiscal parameters
- Implements organizational directives to accomplish identified outcomes, ensuring that appropriate service policies are developed, monitored, implemented and revised annually
- Recruits, employs and retains qualified personnel to maintain appropriate staffing levels
- Establishes and maintains effective channels of communication, including integration of technology, as applicable
- Ensures personnel stay current with clinical information and practices
- Ensures adequate staff education
- Monitors and evaluates the performance improvement activities, services and programs, local and national trends and issues, and develops a strategic plan using measurable outcomes and objectives with a core committee of employees and board members
- Strives for excellence and high ethical standards in personnel by providing current clinical information and practice through orientation, in-service, continuing education, competency testing, monitoring performance of responsibilities as outlined in the job descriptions, motivation, direction, and discipline as deemed necessary
- Ensures the accuracy of public information materials and activities
- Stays informed and educated about community, and industry trends
- Ensures organizational compliance with legal, regulatory and accreditation requirements
- Monitors business operations to ensure financial stability
- Assists in evaluations, conflict and complaint resolution
- Completes performance evaluations on direct reports in accordance with organizational policy
- Planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating programs
- Ensures that interdisciplinary care is provided
- Ensures coordination with other organization areas and senior management, as appropriate, according to the structure and service
- Represents the company at local, state, and national level functions as deemed necessary and ensures the staff and organization stay current on local and national issues and trends
- Monitors operational progress toward accomplished operational and strategic goals
- Ensures that employee safety is of utmost importance, that the necessary and appropriate space, equipment and supplies are available and strives to have an accident-free workplace
- Ensures appropriate data collection and completion of necessary reports
- Assurance of timely and accurate billing and collection practices
- Informs state agencies of any Administrator changes.
- On-Call responsibilities as necessary.
