JOB DESCRIPTION – We are looking for a talented and experienced video editor/media production technician to work full-time. This position requires a professional who has experience in video production/editing, global media messaging, passionate about media, and communications.
RESPONSIBILITIES - Plays a key role in preparing, presenting, archiving and capturing the heart, vision and pulse of Grace Church in television ministry and various other medias. This person will interact with various people from internal and external agencies. This person will interface with all employees, ministry leadership and external providers to present the various ministries and departments on a global scale.
Experience
- Proven work experience as a Video Editor
- Proficient in integrating messages into broadcast content for publication across TV, web and social media
- Ability to trim footage segments, manipulate and edit film sequences in a way that is invisible to the audience
- Ability to overlay music, dialogues, graphics and other effects
- Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (Final Cut Pro X, Adobe Premiere Pro, Lightworks, and After Effects)
- Experience with audio editing software (Pro Tools, Audition). Graphics experience is a plus
- Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation and continuity, and familiarity with special effects, 3D and compositing
- Creative mind and storytelling experience
- Working knowledge of DSLR and fixed lens cameras, and proficiency in lighting subjects
- Experience interacting with stakeholders through production to post-production process
- Discovery and implementation of new editing technologies and industry best practices to maximize efficiency.

- Education OR Experience
- A bachelor's degree in film production or related field is generally required
- Strong work tenure: 5 to 10 years of experience
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- The position is primarily sedentary and requires prolonged standing. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
- Ability to tolerate extended period sitting or standing, on an irregular basis, ability to lift up to 40 pounds, Good hearing, good eyesight
