Role Overview:
The Warehouse Driver is responsible for pulling, loading, organizing, and delivering customer orders for an assigned route.
Responsibilities:

Conducts daily vehicle walk around inspections, sign log and completes report of any deficiencies to Warehouse Supervisor.

Has a solid understanding of the warehouse and pipe yard layout for loading efficiencies.

Reviews all tickets for special delivery requests and ensures those requests are acted upon.

Pulls orders for route deliveries and ensures accuracy.

Organizes and loads materials based on delivery order, weight, dimension, and overall size.

Checks with Warehouse Manager throughout the delivery route for pick up slips that need to be added.

Maintains and utilizes protective safety gear and procedures.

Completes daily deliveries and pulls ship orders for the following day.

Reports material stock count discrepancies to Warehouse Manager.

Reports any QC issues of materials to the Warehouse Manager.

Keeps vehicle clean and organized and immediately reports any operation issues.

Performs all other duties assigned by management.

Requirements:
- Two or more years of driving a delivery truck and making customer deliveries.

Knowledge of industrial pipe, valve, and fitting materials.

Must have and maintain current CDL and DOT requirements.

Class A License required.

Proven record of maintaining safety standards while loading, driving, and delivering materials.

Successful customer service experience.

Strong attention to detail on all inventory and delivery paperwork.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a can-do attitude.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.

Ability to communicate (verbal and written) to create effective relationships.
-
Must have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, twist, stand for long periods of time, climb, push, pull, carry, and reach for items.
-
Ability to pass background check, MVR check, and drug test where required.
