Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Learning and Development Manager to join our team. As the Learning and Development Manager, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our employees. You will play a crucial role in fostering a culture of continuous learning and development within our organization.
Duties:
- Develop and implement comprehensive learning strategies, programs, and initiatives to meet the organization's training needs
- Collaborate with department heads and subject matter experts to identify training needs and create effective learning solutions
- Design and deliver engaging training sessions using a variety of instructional techniques such as e-learning modules, classroom sessions, workshops, and webinars
- Utilize learning management systems (LMS) to manage training content, track employee progress, and generate reports
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, surveys, and feedback to ensure continuous improvement
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in learning and development to enhance the effectiveness of training initiatives
- Provide coaching and mentoring to employees to support their professional growth and development
- Collaborate with HR team to ensure alignment between learning initiatives and performance management processes
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Learning and Development Manager or similar role
- Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies
- Experience in recruiting, performance management, employee relations, conflict management, and employee orientation
- Proficiency in using learning management systems (LMS) to manage training content
- Familiarity with e-learning authoring tools such as Adobe Captivate or Articulate Storyline
- Excellent presentation skills with the ability to engage an audience through public speaking
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
