**Position Overview:**
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative in the food service industry. The ideal candidate should possess excellent customer service skills, a background in food service, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients. This position involves managing wholesale client inquiries, handling phone calls, order entry, and collaborating with a dynamic team to ensure customer satisfaction and smooth order distribution.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Customer Service Excellence:**
- Provide exceptional customer service to both retail and wholesale clients.
- Address inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Maintain a positive and helpful attitude while interacting with clients.
2. **Phone Communication:**
- Handle phone calls with clients to address their questions, concerns, and orders.
- Demonstrate effective communication skills to convey product information and assist with client needs.
3. **Wholesale Client Management:**
- Work closely with wholesale clients to address item questions, introduce new products, and facilitate order processing.
- Ensure accuracy in order entry and provide product recommendations based on client preferences.
4. **Order Entry and Distribution:**
- Efficiently enter and manage orders using our system.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure accurate and timely order distribution.
- Monitor and track orders to provide clients with real-time updates.
5. **Team Collaboration:**
- Work collaboratively with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and logistics, to streamline processes and enhance overall customer satisfaction.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for continuous improvement.
**Qualifications:**
- Proven experience in customer service, preferably in the food service industry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with order entry systems and processes.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Team player with a positive and collaborative attitude.
**Education and Experience:**
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
- Previous experience in food service or related industry is a plus.
- Proficient in MS Office applications and order management systems.
- Proficient in QuickBooks Online.
