Full -Time Pysical Therepist Assistant
Job Summary and Qualifications
The Physical Therapist Assistant treats patients according to physician’s orders and carries out the physical therapy plan of care. The Physical Therapist Assistant maintains required records and notes on patient care, assumes responsibility for patient charges, and provides technical advice to support personnel.
What You Will Do In This Role:
- You will treat patients who have impairments, functional limitations, disabilities or changes in physical function and health status resulting from injury, disease, or other causes, and synthesize the data to carry out the plan of care with therapeutic interventions appropriate to patient’s age and development.
- You will document treatments, charges, and other related information utilizing professional jargon that supports skilled therapeutic necessity and the charges incurred in a concise and timely manner.
- You will interact and confer with a variety of professionals including physicians, nurses, case management, PT's, OT’s, COTA's and SLP’s to implement the intervention program.
- Provide Director with constructive suggestions to problem solve, assist with maintaining productivity standards and setting a positive atmosphere for professional development.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $27.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
