Job Summary
The Retail Sales Associate is responsible for the overall guest experience by developing professional relationships with customers, providing knowledgeable solutions for our customer's wireless needs, and providing world class customer service. This position engages in service selling and product knowledge to exceed goals and maximize profits.
Responsibilities and Duties
Greet all customers in a professional, friendly, and timely manner, in person and via the store telephone
Create an outstanding customer experience, utilizing the METRO Sales Process
Communicate effectively to identify the best product or service to match the needs of the customer utilizing the METRO Sales Process
Meet or exceed monthly sales goals
Develop and maintain business relationships with new and existing customers
Provide marketing efforts to solicit and promote new business inside and outside of the retail store
Perform store operation procedures including opening/closing the retail location, cashier duties, completing product inventory, and maintaining cleanliness
Demonstrate integrity when working with customers, company policy, monetary transactions, product supply, and work relationships
Troubleshoot and diagnose wireless products
Assist in other tasks and duties assigned by management
Must be able to Up Sell and Right Fit products, plans, and other promotions
Must follow MetrobyT-mobile guidelines and procedures on returns, DOA, and XBM (Warranty Exchange)
Trainings must be completed as they are assigned
Must maintain product knowledge on the specifications (memory, speed, camera etc) of current wireless devices (BYOD and current MetrobyT-mobile lineup)
Register and participate in any MetrobyT-mobile contests or giveaways
Must be able lift 20 lbs
Must attend all MetrobyT-Mobile, and Dealer trainings/meetings'
