Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our company, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth operations at the front desk. This is a full-time position with competitive pay.
Responsibilities:
- Opening to Closing 7:30am - 5: 30pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday.
- Potential day off on Wednesday with the exception of required monthly staff meetings at 9am Wednesday. Normal Wendnesday hours: Opening to Closing 9:30am - 2:30pm Wednesday.
- Pay based on experience and leadership ability. Ideal candidate would organize reception to optiumum efficiency
- Bring a positive energy to the team and an excitement about the workday
- Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answering phone calls and accurately address client and patient needs, accurately recording phone conversations.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries
- Perform accurate data entry tasks to update and maintain accurate client and patient records
- Schedule appointments and manage calendars for staff members
- Maintain flow of clients and patients
-Ensure accuracy of invoicing and taking payments
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
- Maintining cleanliness of facility
- Assisting clients with financing options
- Gentle animal handling including taking and recording patient weight
- Ability to meet physical demands of restraining animals and lifting up to 40lbs
- Ability to meet physical demands of standing and/or sitting for long period
- Other tasks as assigned
Skills:
- Previous experience as a Front Desk Receptionist or similar role is required
- Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in data entry and calendar management
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a high-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Professional demeanor with exceptional customer service skills
Note: Veterinary receptionist or Medical receptionist experience preferred but not required
