Calvin Scott Inc. specializes in providing physician weight loss specialists with an easy-to-use dispensing system. As Production Technician you will be responsible for the accurate packaging and labeling of all medications. A keen eye to detail will help you succeed when verifying all label and product information.
Having previous experience running pill counters, labelers, & sealers within FDA and DEA regulations is preferred.
Other responsibilities include:
- Operate and maintain any machinery in production per established protocols and manuals to ensure the safety of yourself and others.
- Collaborate with other product technicians, QC specialists, and managers to ensure accuracy and productivity are maintained per established protocols.
- Follow all established protocols, procedures, and instructions to remain in accordance with FDA and DEA regulations.
- Wear all required PPE (lab coat, hair net, gloves) in production areas and always follow the established dress code.
- As orders are received, verify the information on the sales order is correct, and the correct product has been received.
- Set up the machine settings according to the pill count on the sales order.
- Operate labeler and properly apply the labels to the specific form of packaging.
- Thoroughly clean the machine after each product order, ensure it is fully operational, and notify management if any maintenance or repairs are needed.
- Record all cleaning functions on the cleaning log.
- Assist with packing and shipping of completed orders.
- Perform end of day cleaning of the Production Department, break down boxes, sweep, organize and prepare the workstations for the following business day.
- Assist the Production and Inventory Departments as needed.
- Other tasks as assigned and trained.

- Walking up and down stairs while carrying up to 20lbs
