We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Lead Generator to join our Retail team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be a key player in driving sales and expanding our presence in major retail outlets.
Position Overview: As a CGM Lead Generator, you will be responsible for engaging with customers within retail stores, creating awareness about our products/services, and generating qualified leads. This role involves building relationships with store personnel, understanding customer needs, and effectively communicating the value proposition of our offerings. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in increasing brand visibility, driving foot traffic to our partner retailers, and ultimately contributing to revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Engagement:
- Proactively approach customers within the retail environment to create awareness of our products/services.
- Engage with shoppers, answering questions, and providing information to generate interest.
- Lead Generation:
- Identify and qualify potential leads through effective communication and understanding of customer needs.
- Collect customer information and input data accurately into the lead tracking system.
- Relationship Building:
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with retail store staff to ensure support for lead generation activities.
- Collaborate with store management to coordinate promotional events and maximize visibility.
- Product Knowledge:
- Stay informed about the features and benefits of our products/services to effectively communicate value to customers.
- Provide product samples as needed.
- Reporting and Analysis:
- Track and report on lead generation metrics and activities.
- Provide regular updates to the Marketing Manager on progress and challenges.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in sales or lead generation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.
- Basic math skills, including square footage calculations
- Several work schedules are available, all include weekend work due to high volume.
- Ability to drive between work locations.
- Must pass a Motor Vehicles Records check.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college education preferred.
