Location: NACO West 102 Diamond Springs Trail Ogallala, NE
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales and Marketing Coordinator to join our team at NACO’s Western headquarters (NACO West). The ideal candidate will work closely with the public, have an in-depth understanding of our facility, and demonstrate flexibility to meet the diverse needs of events hosted at NACO West. This role involves promoting and showcasing our new event space, maintaining schedules and contracts, and ensuring the technology and appearance of the facility are top-notch. Collaboration with the Deputy Director and Community Engagement Specialist to enhance marketing strategies and corporate partnerships is also essential.
Event Coordination and Client Interaction:
· Work with the public to provide detailed information about the facility.
· Showcase and demonstrate the various uses of the event space at NACO West.
· Maintain an up-to-date schedule of events and oversee contracts.
Facility Management:
· Ensure the technology is operational and up-to-date.
· In collaboration with the Deputy Director, maintain the overall appearance, cleanliness, and maintenance of the facility.
· Set up and take down chairs and tables for events as required.
Marketing and Promotion:
· Assist with developing and implementing marketing strategies for events held at NACO West.
· Collaborate with the Education and Community Engagement Specialist and Deputy Director to promote NACO business members and corporate partnerships.
· Utilize various marketing channels to enhance the visibility of NACO West and its events.
Collaboration and Communication:
· Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of events.
· Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and stakeholders to meet event requirements and expectations.
· Provide exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business.
Qualifications:
· Proven experience in event coordination, sales, or marketing.
· Strong understanding of marketing principles and strategies.
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
· Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet the demands of events.
· Proficiency in using event management software and other relevant technology.
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality, or a related field preferred, not required.
