RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and implement inventory management strategies and procedures
- Oversee the procurement and sourcing of materials and supplies
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure inventory levels are optimized
- Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships
- Utilize data visualization tools such as Tableau to analyze inventory data and identify trends
- Monitor warehouse operations to ensure efficient storage and distribution of inventory
- Conduct regular audits to reconcile physical inventory with system records
- Develop and implement strategies for inventory control, including cycle counting and stock rotation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand and plan for future inventory needs
- Implement and maintain systems for tracking and reporting on key inventory metrics
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong background in inventory control, demand planning, and analysis skills
- Experience in supply chain management, distribution center operations, and purchasing
- Proficiency in negotiation and warehouse management
- Ability to conduct root cause analysis, category management, and process improvement
- Familiarity with materials handling
- Knowledge of stocking procedures and retail management
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
- Demonstrated ability in supplier management and contracts
- Experience in e-commerce and retail environments
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
