Job Overview:
Burleson Construction is looking for an Executive/ Accounting Assistant to assist the Executive Team and CFO with daily tasks. The qualified candidate shall be a team oriented, motivated, self-starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-All basic QuickBooks functions. Accounts payable and receivable.
-Assist in drafting of invoices, lien waivers, and AIA contract documents.
-Track payable and receivable dates and perform follow up calls.
-Sales tax and insurance reporting and audits.
-Verify and obtain insurance certificates from subcontractors.
-Filing and mailing duties.
-Answer phones and deliver messages.
-Assist project management team with purchasing, permitting, and record keeping duties.
-Responsible for managing monthly company expenses.
-Assist project management team with tracking of job expenses.
Basic qualifications are:
-College degree preferred or 2 years minimum experience with QuickBooks.
-Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including word processing, spreadsheet and data entry skills.
-Excellent oral and written communication skills.
-Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
-Detail-oriented; good organizational skills.
-Self-motivated; possess the ability to work in a fast paced office environment.
-Professional appearance.
-Positive attitude, flexible, and team-oriented approach.
-QuickBooks and accounting knowledge a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $49,000.00 - $51,000.00 per year
