Job Summary:
Seeking a detail oriented, self-motivated and reliable Warehouse Associate to join our team.
As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for receiving, inspecting, preparing and documenting incoming and Outgoing shipments, preparing shipments for transport, operating various machines and equipment to prepare our products for shipment and interacting with OTR drivers. Your role is crucial in ensuring accurate inventory management and maintaining efficient warehouse operations.
Duties:
- Receive incoming shipments and verify the accuracy of contents
- Inspect for damages or defects
- Unload and load shipments using various equipment such as a forklift and overhead crane
- Stock received items in designated storage areas
- Operating various machines
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely processing of shipments
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the receiving area
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times
Skills:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or receiving role preferred
- Proficiency in operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment (2 year minimum)
- Ability to load, unload, and move heavy items using forklifts
- Familiarity with power tools and strong measurement skills
- Bilingual a must.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate documentation and inventory counts
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
