Vacations To Go is a Houston based, online travel company that was founded in 1984. Through the years, we have become one of the largest vacation booking agencies in the world! Our office, with over 1000 employees, is located in the Galleria area of Houston, Texas. We service customers from all over the world, and would love to have you join our family!
We are currently looking for an individual who is Bilingual (English/Spanish), computer savvy, ambitious and dependable to join our dynamic Receptionist Department. This department reports to the Office Manager, and is responsible for providing great customer service to clients and employees, answering/screening calls, and tasked with various entry-level office administrative and support duties as described below. This is an in-office position.
Responsibilities
❑ This is not a typical Receptionist/Front Desk position. The main duty consists of professionally answering, screening and transferring about 30-60 calls per hour using a web-based phone system
❑ Recording and relaying messages via system forms and emails
❑ Receiving, filing, sorting, and distributing various office materials such as emails, physical mail, office supplies and packages
❑ Conference Room Set-up (supplies, food, drinks, etc.)
❑ Weekly Office/Break Room Supply Inventory and Cleaning (Restocking/Tracking)
❑ Greeting, directing and escorting employees, guests and visitors
❑ Various Office Administrative Support projects as needed
Qualifications
❑ 2 years customer service experience preferred (face to face or over the phone)
❑ Bilingual: Able to understand and fluently speak English and Spanish.
❑ Ability to work the following in-office 40-hour schedule:
- Pick 2 days off: Tue, Wed or Sat (same every week)
- 5 Work days (In-office): 2p-11p weekdays, 11a-8p Saturdays, 1p-10p Sundays (same every week)
- One (1) hour lunch break each day

❑ Computer/internet savvy (Data entry, Google Chrome, Internet Explorer)

❑ Ability to lift heavy objects (20-30 lbs)
