Program Therapist
As a licensed program therapist at Crownview Co-Occurring Institute you will be working with chronic and high-acuity mental health presentations (dual and many differentials) at different levels of care. You will work alongside a diverse treatment team to provide a combination of evidence-based treatment methods and other creative and innovative interventions in order to individualize each client’s care. Job tasks include assessment/diagnosis and clinical intakes, group therapy, crisis intervention, Trauma Therapist, EMDR/BSP.
We provide short-term and long-term psychotherapy, group therapy, family support, and family therapy as part of the clinical PHP/IOP program. Approved by the Joint Commission, administrative responsibilities follow.

Job Types: Full-time, in-person
Salary: $80,000.00 to $110,000 per year
Crownview offers full time Clinicians: Paid EMDR Training/Consultation; Annual Wellness Gift Certificates; 15 days paid vacation per year/5 sick days per year, 3 additional paid days of for additional training/conferences; Annual stipend for training/conferences/books
Job Requirements
- MUST BE LICENSED IN THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA
- Independently run outpatient treatment
- Experience working with serious mental illness; crisis intervention.
- Experience in providing and working with evidence-based treatment/interventions.
- Experience in working with people with co-occurring disorders
- Experience with evidence-based therapy models, CBT, DBT, ACT, solution focused therapy, narrative therapy, and psycho-educational approaches
- Experience working successfully with issues of trauma, psychosis, substance abuse, mental health, criminal background, etc.
- Culturally competent and able to work with a diverse population
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, internet applications, Zoom, and behavioral health software
- Extensive Knowledge of Clinical documentation (treatment plans, progress notes etc.)
