Input tracking updates into the Transportation Management System from pickup to successful delivery

Independently coordinate available carriers with customer freight

Develop and maintain strong relationships with carriers while expanding your carrier base through sourcing

Negotiate and quote rates with carriers in a cost-effective manner that benefits all parties
-
Keep up to date in seasonal market trends

Utilize software tools to negotiate and log market rates
-
Communicate with carriers and internal departments, with a sense of urgency, coordinate pickup times, deliveries, updates, and resolve any issues

Create carrier leads through both warm and cold calls

High School Diploma Required
-
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience highly preferred
-
Minimum 1-year sales experience preferred

Experience conducting business over the phone highly preferred

Superb verbal and written communication, strong phone presence
-
Proven ability to work independently and be a team player in a fast-paced environment

Possess the "Hungry" and "Hunter" mentality

Ability to problem-solve and handle high-stress environment while hitting KPI’s

Strong people skills including ability to build relationships with carriers

Determination and tenaciousness with strong work ethic, self-motivation, and sales drive
