Role Description:
This on-site full-time role in Bay City, MI with Herman Hiss & Co. focuses primarily on digital and social media marketing. The role is to assist in the development and execution of digital marketing initiatives to drive business goals. The successful candidate will contribute to social media content creation, scheduling and posting, as well as participate in executing campaign plans. This person will work in conjunction with the marketing team to create and implement digital marketing campaigns, analyze data to drive insights and constantly optimize to improve KPIs. The candidate will also assist with website maintenance including uploading and updating products, keeping information up to date, and appealing appearance.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement
- Create and curate high-quality content for social media platforms
- Manage social media accounts and monitor comments, messages, and reviews
- Analyze social media data to identify trends and adjust strategies accordingly
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media efforts with overall marketing goals
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in social media marketing
Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you should have a strong understanding of social media platforms and be able to create compelling content that resonates with our target audience. The following skills are required:
- Public relations: Ability to effectively communicate and maintain positive relationships with customers and influencers.
- Advertising: Knowledge of advertising principles and techniques to create effective campaigns.
- Social media management: Proficiency in managing multiple social media accounts, scheduling posts, and engaging with followers.
- Google: Familiarity with Google Analytics and other Google tools for tracking website traffic and user behavior.
- E-commerce: Understanding of e-commerce platforms and strategies for driving online sales.
- Social media marketing: Experience in developing and implementing successful social media marketing campaigns.
- Social listening: Ability to monitor conversations about our brand on social media platforms and respond appropriately.
- Adobe Illustrator: Proficiency in using Adobe Illustrator for creating visually appealing graphics.
- Photography: Basic photography skills for capturing high-quality images for social media posts.
