ASSOCIATE eCOMMERCE SALES MANAGER
Job Definition:
The Associate eCommerce Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth for assigned accounts. Will serve as the main point-of-contact on select accounts and will assist Sales Leadership on more strategic accounts. This role will coordinate with internal partners to ensure account health and profitability while driving sales.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Own the ecommerce strategies for assigned accounts, overseeing the selection, pricing, advertising and search/discoverability levers with a focus on long-term, sustainable growth
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts
- Drive sales via communicating new item launches, assist in curation, and own the overall strategy for their book of business
- Propose opportunities to management for promotional activities on assigned accounts, to management
- Coordinate with marketing team on the execution of sales plan
- Proactively execute sales plan, aiming to exceed budget
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with Retail Partners
- Communicate account requirements to internal parties including required SLAs, shipping/labeling requirements, and other factors resulting in operational chargebacks
- Facilitate with the follow up with customer orders as assigned and under the guidelines of internal operations
- Monitor sample requests and account performance to make sound judgment to grow the account
- Perform other duties as assigned and work cross functionally with others
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Education:
- BS degree in business or related field preferred, or relevant work experience.
Experience:
- Overall knowledge of sales tactics, especially eCommerce sales levers
- 3-5 years' experience in Sales or related field
- Account/vendor management
- Experience in consumer products is strongly preferred
- Prior digital experience, including 3rd party/retailer platforms preferred.
